Integrated Land Ecosystem-Atmosphere Processes Study, iLEAPS

iLEAPS is the land-atmosphere core project of the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme (IGBP). The scientific goal of iLEAPS is to provide understanding how interacting physical, chemical and biological processes transport and transform energy and matter through the land-atmosphere interface. iLEAPS encourages international and interdisciplinary collaboration, particularly involving scientists from the developing countries.

The call for abstract for “Communicating Science to Society: Coping with climate extremes for resilient ecological-societal systems”, a joint conference by AsiaFlux, HESSS, TERRECO, GCEER, and KSAFM on 21-24 August 2013, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, is open.

4th iLEAPS Science Conference "Terrestrial ecosystems, atmosphere, and people in the Earth system", 12-16 May 2014 in Nanjing, China.

ICOS Director General position open

The European ICOS Research Infrastructure (ICOS RI) seeks a distinguished Director General for a full-time position. The position is initially for 5 years but can be extended.
